The dedication: “To all those who still believe…” had me hooked.  I try to enjoy every day as the gift that it truly is and when I read this dedication I just smiled.  What awesome and inspiring words from talented authors.  This simple statement gives you a glimpse into their soul. 

Like weaving an intricate quilt, “Snowflake Secrets” blends a unique story.  The story begins with lovely crocheted snowflakes just like the ones my mother-in-law gave me that her mother made her for her very first Christmas tree.  These snowflakes, as the ones written about, are cherished.  In 1958 Aunt Maude gives each of the Sullivan sisters crocheted snowflakes.  When the girls have grown into women they see the magic that Great Aunt Maude has woven into each of the snowflakes.  Written by different talented authors each sister's story is told.

I have never read a fiction book that was as this collaboration is.  Intriguing and imaginative, these authors have given us a complex story that is wonderful.  I plan to snuggle up by the fire during the holiday season and re-visit the Sullivan sisters again and again.
