Priscilla Audette
CreateSpace (2012)
ISBN
9781475201802
In Priscilla Audette’s first novel, where stylistically Erica Jong meets Nora Roberts, the reader will join in a madcap romp through the early years of the sexual revolution. Told through the eyes of a nineteen-year-old woman Seismic Influences is the story of a journey from innocence to knowledge. It is a period piece taking place in the early 1970s, an era that pulsed with the resurgence of sex: sex as power, sex as sport, sex as a means of profit, and for women, the beginnings of a remembering. Seismic Influences allows us to bypass our puritanical roots and to reach deeper into our psyches, into a more pagan time remembered only in our DNA The novel manifests elements of pop culture of the time (everything from Richard Nixon to Elvis) and confession. The main character, Joy—as in there was none in Mudville—works in a snack shop located in a Los Angeles suburb. As her story begins, Joy has just discovered a body.

Ted Olinger
Plicata Press (2013)
ISBN
9780984840038
The Key Peninsula floats quietly through time in Puget Sound but exists more like an island in the hearts of her residents. Descendants of the first peoples and pioneers mingle with newcomers washed ashore from distant cities in these stories of small town life in a community too small to have a town. Young homeowners grapple with the depredations of heartsick woodpeckers. Anarchist loggers nail indignant poems to roadside trees. Shamanic gardeners work to heal a damaged world one lawn at a time. Deceptively simple stories with deep feeling.

In the best traditions of high fantasy and the immortal quest, the contemporary saga of the Krisalys Feyree Chronicles is a riveting tale of magic, danger, plots, dreams and ultimate betrayal that will engulf two realms, forcing féyree, dwarves and elves into a perilous struggle to discern truth from trouble as two ancient prophecies pit friends against each other in a battle of beliefs.
How do you convince an ice dragon to give you a tear when you’re only three inches high? What do you do when you’re dumped off at night in a bog filled with wraiths, and told “Hope to see you in the morning”? Crossover’s gripping adventure weaves a fascinating saga in which féyree struggle through increasingly dangerous Rites in a quest to earn their wings, even as shadows of a forgotten prophecy gather to change their realm.

Chart Magazines describes it as, "a modern day masterpiece." Faerie Magazine calls it "a fascinating journey," and a great sequel to Crossover, Scroll 1. Continuing in the best traditions of high fantasy, the contemporary saga of the Feyree Chronicles blossoms with this suspense-filled adventure.
When the Firelord, Tvashtar Tizon, petitions the Fairy Council to form an alliance, many fairies insist he is presenting them with a rare opportunity. Yet while Tizon's motives seem sincere, Danai and Joson are increasingly suspicious of their former friend - and so is the Lady of the Lake. Few heed their warnings, and when the dragon attacks, even the elves dismiss the threat of Tizon's fire demons. But the Tvashtar's fiery realm of Nonetre is withering, and Eshel, his scheming high councilor, believes the prophecy foretells far more than just a simple alliance...
A riveting fantasy fiction adventure of magic, danger, plots, dreams, and ultimate betrayal that will engulf two realms, forcing fairies, dwarves, and elves into a perilous struggle to discern truth from trouble as two ancient prophecies pit friends against each other in a battle of beliefs.
